Safe and Sound

If you are a mom, grandma, aunt, uncle, friend, or acquaintance, you'll be happy to know I am here safe and sound. I arrived here at 12 AM last night (Spain time) and went straight to bed and woke up at 1 this afternoon. (That is the first time in my life I slept that long.)
Sunset on the way to Canada
My trip was good, and I found that I can sleep any where in any position if I'm tired enough. When I got to Lisbon, Portugal I had three hours before my next flight so I sat down and closed my eyes and woke up periodically. The announcer was hard to understand so when I heard my flight being called I thought that it was a "we will be boarding in 10 minutes" next thing I know they're calling "Cristina Fleming, Cristina Fleming (emphasis on the 'g') this is the last call to board the flight. Next thing I know, I'm running to catch the bus to board the plane (which was more like a stretch limo missionary plane). Once I got on (you'll never guess) I fell asleep. We landed, got my luggage, found the OM people and came to my home for the next three months.
Landing in Lisbon
My team leader is Elizabeth - or Eli - she is a wonderful, friendly girl from Georgia, so you can only imagine her southern drawl; it's great! The guy team leader is Jesser from Chile, he's also the "boss man" as Eli says. When I arrived I got to meet one of my team mates, Oli, who is from Texas who got here around lunch time. Today, my other teammates arrived - Erin (Connecticut) and Danielle (Oklahoma). They are all very sweet, and I'm so excited to work with them all. Tonight we will get one guy from France and our team will be complete for a month, then I believe that sometime in July a few more members will be arriving.
Thank you all for praying. Everything went smoothly, luggage arrived with me, and I had a good nights sleep.
Enjoyed this Rainbow in Lisbon
Blessings to you all.
